Position Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Rockville, Maryland
Department: Sales / Customer Service
Report to: Vice President of Sales

Position Summary:

  • Provide administrative support to a senior Sales Account Manager
  • Assist with inside customer support; handle incoming calls, order entry, follow up on quotes, and interact with existing customers on the telephone
  • Maintain customer database and sales contract files
  • Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with clients
  • Prepare and review sales orders and invoices for accuracy
  • Process and/or revise accurate sales quotes
  • Assist with preparing sales presentations
  • Provide assistance with managing promotional programs

Qualifications Summary:

  • Minimum two years administrative experience or willing to train a candidate with a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to work well with others towards a common goal
  • Experience providing administrative support in a Marketing or Sales Department a plus
  • Exceptional attention to detail

Temporary to hire. Salary is commensurate with years of relative experience and education. Free parking. Five minute bus ride from Metro on the Red Line.
