Assistant Community Manager Position Summary:

  • Ensure needs of tenants are met
  • Train and develop a team of leasing consultants
  • Assist with marketing efforts to promote the community
  • Engage in community events to assist with brand awareness
  • Follow all Fair Housing Laws
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor to ensure timely resolution to tenant and property concerns
  • Provide assistance to Community Manager with report preparation including annual budget
  • Remain current in industry standards and training
  • Act as backup to Community Manager
  • Perform special projects as requested by Community Manager


Assistant Community Manager Qualifications Summary:

  • Minimum two years property management experience
  • Customer service and sales experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Flexible schedule to work weekends
  • Proficiency in OneSite software
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Knowledgeable of Fair Housing Laws
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage and lead a team
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines
