Position Title: Database Specialist

Position Summary:

  • Verify accuracy of member records in database
  • Identify, research, and populate missing information
  • Refine database entries by locating and merging duplicate information
  • Locate, evaluate, and update partial entries
  • Enter new member information for account creation
  • Utilize internet search engines as well as internal database to identify needed information for account completion and updates
  • Contact members as necessary via email and telephone to verify and update database information


Qualifications Summary:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong attention to detail, proofreading skills, and accuracy
  • Experience working with a database
  • Knowledge of iMIS Database Software a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Professionalism accompanied by a high degree of interpersonal skills
  • Experience in an office setting
  • Ability to take direction then work independently


The hours for this position are 8:00AM – 4:00PM with a 1 hour lunch break, 35/hours per week, Monday – Friday.  Location is Metro accessible, free parking is also available. Dress is business casual.  Pay is commensurate with experience, training and education.
