Position Title: The Director of Operations

Jones Networking is searching for an experienced Director of Operations to join a large CPA firm in Towson that provides free parking and excellent benefits. The Director of Operations will work closely with partners and be responsible for optimizing firm workflow, promoting a culture of strong communication and teamwork, and taking a hands-on approach to daily operations.

Director of Operations Position Summary:
– Supervise workflow of client deliverables in coordination with client service and administrative staff
– Negotiator for workflow priorities, scheduling conflicts, and overseeing internal/external expectations
– Point of contact for planning and execution of audit
– Establish processes and monitor compliance to ensure underlying data is accurate
– Oversee administrative support staff to ensure production, client service, facility, and office matters are handled efficiently
– Assist the Director of HR
– Supervise and improve timekeeping, billing, and collection policies
– Work with IT and management to execute roll outs of new systems
– Basic knowledge of issues affecting the CPA profession

Director of Operations Qualifications Summary:
– Minimum of 10 years prior experience in a professional services firm, preferably a CPA firm
– Bachelor’s Degree required
– Knowledge and use of MS Office 365 programs
– Remarkable data manipulation skills and the ability to understand the flow of data
– Strong business acumen and basic understanding of daily business operations
– Exceptional interpersonal skills
– Ability to meet tight deadlines in a timely and effective manner
– Outstanding follow-up orientation

Approximately 120,000 – 150,000/annually, depending on experience.
