Jones Networking is recruiting for a Human Resources Director with a large manufacturing company in Sterling, VA. The HR Director serves as a strategic partner to the senior leadership team, responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for all areas of Human Resources, including; talent acquisition, health and safety, employee relations, benefits management, compensation review & capital strategy planning, performance management, training & leadership development, policies & procedures, and managing a team of HR professionals in multiple sites. HR Director Position Summary:
-Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the company’s human capital goals and strategies to support the company’s growth.
-Design and roll out HR related initiatives to effectively address current and future needs of the business.
-Provide overall strategic direction for all aspects of the company’s human capital, including; recruitment, compensation and rewards, employee relations, benefits, health and wellness, and retirement plans in an effort to maximize engagement and retention.
-Responsible for bench marking, competitive market analysis, and job evaluation.
-Manage and direct benefits budgeting.
-Stay current on trends for total reward programs and best practices.
-Administer and oversee the administration of all human resource programs and objectives.
-Ensure that human resource programs and processes are effective, efficient, and aligned to overall business objectives.
-Provide coaching and counseling for managers on handling employee issues through positive employee relations.
-Serve as an integrated part of the business by working with and advising managers at all levels of the company to align with and assist in accomplishing broader business objectives.
-Monitors and ensures the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Qualifications Summary:
-Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management or related field required. Master’s Degree and/or HR Certifications desired.
-Minimum 12 years of relevant HR experience in capital strategy planning, talent acquisition, HR management, compensation and benefits planning.
-Experience with effectively scaling a rewards function to support the company’s business goals and growth.
-Demonstrable experience in successful development of strategy and administration of compensation and benefits.
-Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
-Strong technology, analytical, mathematical, statistical, and conceptual skills.
-Excellent business and people skills, comfortable leading change and navigating ambiguity.
-International recruiting experience and working with immigration attorneys desired.
-Experience effectively managing a team of direct reports performing all HR functions.
-Ability to provide proper oversight to the payroll function as it relates to shift differentials, time and attendance and potential discrepancies. ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus.
-Flexibility to travel domestically and locally to other company locations. Approximately 50% travel will be expected.
