Jones Networking is recruiting for a dynamic and resourceful Legal Recruiter to work on-site at a Law Firm in Charlotte, NC. This position is responsible for sourcing top talent to support the growing Law Office. Position Summary for the Legal Recruiter:
– Develop sourcing strategies and talent attraction initiatives that incorporate Firm’s ATS (Paylocity), LinkedIn Recruiter and other channels.
– Support the summer associate and fall clerk programs, which includes assisting with coordination of on-campus recruiting and in-office interview programs, assisting with interview schedules, the offer process, and follow-up efforts.
– Source lateral associate candidates, conducting screening interviews, preparing interview summaries, and making interview recommendations.
– Leverage professional networks, social media, user groups, networking events and other creative channels to source both active and passive candidates.
– Analyze sourcing and recruiting metrics to proactively identify areas for process improvement.
– Research industry trends and stay abreast of talent/labor market and competitor insights.
– Develop effective relationships within the firm and the legal recruitment community to have positive influence and impact on the firm’s recruiting program.
– Provide administrative support for various recruiting initiatives.
– Obtain reference checks, background checks, and due diligence on associate candidates; seeing the hiring process through the offer and acceptance stage.
Qualifications Summary for the Legal Recruiter:
– Bachelor’s Degree required, or High School Diploma/GED and equivalent professional experience.
– At least 3-5 years of outbound recruiting, sourcing, or research experience at an agency or in-house.
– Experience utilizing various recruiting resources and social media to drive recruiting efforts.
– Excellent communication skills, including experience with interviewing and networking.
– Ability to think creatively with demonstrated project management and prioritization skills.
– Working knowledge of current recruitment and hiring laws.
– Criteria Corp pre-employment testing experience, a plus.
