Jones Networking is recruiting for a Marketing, Events & Service Coordinator to join a celebrity-owned restaurant in NW Washington, DC. We are seeking a dynamic customer service-oriented events, marketing & sales professional with hospitality experience. Marketing, Events & Service Coordinator Position Summary:
-Actively seek to increase sales through building relationships with private event customers and leading local marketing campaigns.
-Lead local community and social media marketing objectives, including: local outreach, referral/concierge programs, corporate promotion implementation, organic social media posts, scheduling paid social media ads, email marketing campaigns, printed collateral, maintenance of local marketing budget, and reputation management on all online platforms.
-Oversee event management, including: targeted and weekly event sales and outreach, creating and editing party menus, creating and implementing contracts, conducting customer site tours, responding to event requests, coordinating vendors such as floral or rentals, liaising with kitchen team, and participating in servicing of events.
-Support the front of house and back of house team members, ensuring quality of service and products meet high standards.
-Assist in all hiring, teaching, supervision, management, coaching, counseling, and
evaluation of all team members under the dynamic guidelines set for the brand.
-Ensure proper inventory levels are maintained for facilitating proper operations.
-Analyze financial statements, develop operating budgets and participate in forecasting.
-Minimum one year experience in Events Management in the hospitality industry including restaurant and bar operations.
-Marketing, sales and event planning experience.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Ability to remain calm and alert, especially during emergency situations; serving as a role model for team members and guests.
-Ability to maintain positive and professional relations with vendors.
-Supervisory or team management experience.
-Strong leadership, problem-solving and organizational skills.
