Position Title: Meetings and Events Coordinator

Jones Networking is recruiting for a Meetings and Events Coordinator to provide administrative and logistical support for client meetings and events. Meetings and Events Coordinator Position Summary
-Assist in the coordination and execution of all phases of meeting logistics planning for events including but not limited to lodging arrangements, meeting room diagrams and set up, audio visual requirements, catering, shuttle service, communications and shipping.
-Provide administrative support to Senior Meetings Manager.
-Maintain contact with clients and vendors ensuring all requests are met within time limits for events.
-Select and oversee catering for events.
-Maintain and update budget spreadsheets.
-Create signage and suggest appropriate onsite placement at events.
-Coordinate security and temporary staff schedules.
-Provide logistics support.
-Travel on behalf of clients as required for site trips and staging of events.

Meetings and Events Coordinator Qualifications Summary
-Proficiency with Office 365.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Ability to work independently with flexibility to work on multiple projects.
-Strong proofreading skills.
-Excellent customer service skills with clients, staff, and vendors to provide support with general event inquiries.
-Strong team player with the ability to collaborate, share ideas, and assist other department members on projects and tasks as needed.
-Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
-Minimum two years administrative experience required; meeting and event planning experience preferred.
-Ability to manage competing priorities and competing deadlines.
-Professional and positive demeanor.
-Availability to travel approximately 20% of the time.
