Real Estate Financial Analyst Position Summary:

  • Create direct capitalization rates based on financial statements, rent tolls, and market conditions.

  • Create discounted cash flows.

  • Communicate with clients in regards to potential lease up assumptions and capital expenditures.

  • Analyze hotels, multi-family, retail, office, and industrial land for potential assessment reductions.

  • Compose narratives explaining and supporting the DCF and direct caps.

  • Prepare monthly tax budgets.

  • Effectively communicate case status to internal and external clients.

  • Maintain database of recent sales for all product types.

Real Estate Financial Analyst Qualifications Summary:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics is required.

  • Minimum two years relative experience working in commercial real estate.

  • Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and Access skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
