Position Title: Recruiter – Manufacturing

The Recruiter reports directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager and will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis to proactively identify and fill open job vacancies. While modeling company core values, the Recruiter will drive and manage the full life cycle recruiting process. The Recruiter will attract candidates using various sources including ATS, social media networks and employee referrals. This role is ultimately responsible for attracting and hiring the best employees for the company’s growing needs and developing a strong talent pipeline for future hiring needs.

Position Summary:

  • Drives the full life cycle recruiting process and ensures continuous improvement and business alignment all while promoting the company’s brand and modeling company Core Values

  • Implements overall recruiting strategy to build candidate pipeline and recruit talent to fill open vacancies

  • Performs intake sessions with hiring managers to document job requirements and objectives

  • Assists with developing and updating job descriptions

  • Posts jobs to appropriate job boards and social media sites

  • Sources and recruits candidates using the ATS, databases, job boards, social media, and other creative sourcing tools

  • Screens applicants’ resumes and applications to assess relevant knowledge, skills, and experiences for the job

  • Conducts both telephone and in-person interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools

  • Manages and dispositions candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS)

  • Manages application/resume and interviewing files and retention according to company policy

  • Cultivates and engages diverse national and local talent network sourcing channels

  • Monitors and applies HR recruiting best practices to drive compliance, process efficiency and best practice implementation.

  • May be asked to attend and support managers in participation in recruiting events

  • Provides weekly analytical and well documented recruiting metrics reports

  • Acts as a point of contact and builds influential candidate relationships during the selection process

Qualifications Summary:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Human Resources or related field

  • Must have at least 3-5+ years of prior recruiting experience

  • Experience recruiting in a manufacturing or retail environment is required

  • Demonstrated full life cycle recruiting and ability to handle high volume requisitions and high level of multitasking

  • Prior experience with recruiting for skilled trades positions

  • Accustomed to handling recruitment for national geographical areas (positions all across the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico)

  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, behavioral, etc)

  • Hands-on experience with utilizing various HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)

  • Familiarity with recruiting compliance

  • Excellent communication and time management skills

  • Strong decision-making, influencing, and relationship building skills

  • Microsoft Office Suite with advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Salary is commensurate with experience; approximately 20.00-25.00/hour and benefits offered.

Occasional overtime, evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Approximately 15-20% travel necessary, local to Charlotte and throughout the US and Canada.
