Jones Networking is recruiting for a Senior Litigation Paralegal with the Washington, DC office of a global Law Firm. Senior Litigation Paralegal Position Summary:
-Perform all elements of litigation case management, including file management, case calendaring, discovery, and trial activities.
-Utilize existing systems and procedures and/or establish new procedures to facilitate the organization and retrieval of documents by and for the attorneys on the case team.
-Serve as a liaison between case team attorneys and support team.
-Manage and track filings and disseminate information with team and staff accordingly.
-Interact with outside entities to support firm activities, specifically trials and arbitrations.
-Draft, review, and analyze routine legal documents and conduct legal research.
-Provide guidance and training to junior paralegals regarding firm and litigation procedures and best practices.
Senior Litigation Paralegal Qualifications Summary:
-Minimum 5 years work experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm.
-Bachelor’s Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
-Knowledgeable in preparing for and attending trials, arbitrations and hearings.
-Experience with court and administrative agency filings.
-Familiarity with USITC Electronic Document Information System (EDIS) preferred.
-Knowledgeable in e-discovery databases including Relativity and Nuix Discover.
-Litigation support software capability in file and transcript management to include LiveNote and CaseMap.
-Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
-Proficiency using LexisNexis, Westlaw, and Adobe Acrobat.
-Well versed with cite-checking and Bluebook rules.
