Jones Networking is recruiting for a Senior Pre-Litigation Attorney to join a Personal Injury Law Firm in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will serve as the head of the firm’s pre-litigation team, mentoring new attorneys and supervising legal support staff. Position Summary for the Senior Pre-Litigation Attorney:
– Serve as the primary resource for legal questions, file strategy, escalated client issues and resolution of liability, coverage, and value complications for high-volume, personal injury files.
– Manage essential firm Departments and supervise a staff of legal and administrative professionals.
– Develop and direct file strategy, value maximization and risk mitigation activities.
– Conduct strategy meetings with COO, Managing Partner, CFO and Department Heads to define case management and client services objectives.
– Steer creation and management of SOP’s, departmental workflow designs, and training resources to ensure proper file management and delivery of firm objectives.
– Audit settlement documentation and lien resolution proposals to ensure accuracy and compliance with both internal firm goals as well as statutory obligations and ethical guidelines.
– Lead ad hoc legal initiatives for cross-functional departments.
Qualifications Summary for the Senior Pre-Litigation Attorney:
– Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school
– North Carolina State Bar admission
– Minimum of 7-10+ years’ NC plaintiff or defense personal injury practice experience required
– Management and/or supervisory experience
– Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills and attention to detail
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-volume practice
– Outstanding problem-solving skills
– Demonstrate the highest level of personal integrity, client confidentiality and adherence to ethical standards
