Jones Networking is recruiting for an Electronic Transaction Specialist to join a growing Logistics and Supply Company in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate candidate will be an expert in data exchange, and must be able to develop and improve ways to securely receive and transfer data to and from different trading partners. Electronic Transaction Specialist Key Responsibilities:
– Quality Assurance: Develop and execute comprehensive quality assurance strategies for  processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
– Testing and Validation: Conduct rigorous testing and validation of electronic transactions, including document mapping, translation, and data transformation. Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in data exchange.
– Error Analysis and Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve electronic transaction errors, exceptions, and failures promptly and effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as IT, operations, and customer service, to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
– Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance electronic transaction systems’ efficiency, accuracy, and reliability. Propose and implement process enhancements to optimize performance and minimize errors.
– Compliance and Standards: Stay current with industry regulations, communication standards (such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, cXML), and best practices. Ensure adherence to applicable compliance requirements, such as HIPAA, EDIINT AS2, or GDPR.
– Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of relevant processes, including technical specifications, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Keep records of test plans, test results, and issue resolutions.
– Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to analyze business requirements, design solutions, and implement system enhancements. Provide guidance and support to business users and technical teams involved in the processes.
– Training and Support: Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to end-users, helping them understand and effectively utilize the system. Address user queries, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth electronic transaction operations.
– Performance Monitoring: Develop and implement monitoring tools and metrics to track the performance and reliability of electronic transaction processes. Proactively identify areas of improvement and recommend corrective actions as needed.
– Continuous Learning: Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and advancements in EDI/cXML and related areas. Participate in professional development activities, attend conferences, and network with industry professionals to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Electronic Transaction Specialist Focused Responsibilities:
– Process Electronic Transaction Errors Daily
– Communicate with teams to ensure mappings are being updated to increase quality over time.
– Investigate Trends and seek out resolutions.
– Process Inbound Order Errors promptly, keeping cut-off times in mind.
– Communicate with teams to ensure updates are being made and processing quality is increasing.
– Work with teams to ensure new Trade Partners are set up correctly.
– Ensure new Trade Partners are functioning correctly once they have been implemented.
– Work with teams to ensure Flat Files are processed on schedule and with valid data.
– Design and build System Health Dashboards that provide updated information on how transactions are processed through the system at that time.
– Work with other teams as needed to build this data.
– Work through reported Exceptions to ensure System Health
– Build or Update Processes as needed to support quality.

Electronic Transaction Specialist Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or relevant experience.
– Strong knowledge and understanding of electronic transaction concepts, standards, and protocols (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, AS2, cXML, etc.).
– Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, Java) for data analysis and transformation is a bonus.
– Familiarity with data mapping tools and concepts.
– Solid understanding of quality assurance methodologies, testing techniques, and defect tracking systems.
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
– Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
– Two years of hands-on experience working with Electronic Transaction technologies.
