Estate Planning Attorney

Jones Networking is recruiting for an Estate Planning Attorney to join a growing Law Firm in South Charlotte, NC. Our client offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits, PTO, retirement plan and more.

Estate Planning Attorney Responsibilities:
– Answer telephone calls and meet with potential clients  to review their legal matters in-person and virtually.

– Conduct estate planning document reviews virtually and signing appointments in-person.
– Draft and file estate planning documents, probate forms, deeds, and numerous types of business agreements.
– Correspond with clients regarding the status of their matter.
– Occasionally travel to the courthouse for filings, research, or sporadic hearings.
– Eventually, assist with the oversight of client files and support staff.

Estate Planning Attorney Requirements:
– Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school.

– Admission in good standing with North Carolina State Bar.
– Minimum of 2-5+ years of estate planning experience.

– Excellent academic credentials, creative analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Detail-oriented with excellent organization skills, including the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with little to no supervision.

– Excellent researcher, writer, and proofreader in order to deliver error-free quality work.
– Team player, committed to working with colleagues and clients.
– Proficient legal writing skills.
– Active or willing to be active with bar associations and networking groups.
