Position Title: Maintenance Technician

Jones Networking is recruiting for an experienced HVAC / Maintenance Technician to join a high-rise, mixed-use community in Arlington, VA. Maintenance Technician Position Summary:
-Perform completion of all maintenance / HVAC requests and apartment turnovers, assuring property maintenance remains in compliance with Virginia Landlord Tenant Laws.
-Complete assigned work order requests and abide by the make-ready schedule.
-Assist with shop inventory, ensuring that all necessary parts are ordered in a timely manner and are in stock in time to complete work requests.
-Maintain accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, annual apartment inspections, move-out inspections, pre-move-in inspections, and make-ready checklists.
-Complete assigned maintenance tasks on vacant apartments.
-Perform minor/routine maintenance repairs throughout property on a daily basis.
-Ensure locks are changed and new keys are made following every move-out.
-Comply with all OSHA regulations and any applicable laws regarding health, safety, or working environment.

Maintenance Technician Qualifications Summary:
-Minimum five years of recent building engineer / maintenance technician / HVAC experience in residential / multi-family property management.
-Universal EPA/CFC desired.
-Experience performing HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repairs.
-Experience troubleshooting, repairing and replacing boilers and chillers preferred.
-Proficient in appliance repair to include washers and dryers.
-Experience working on split system HVAC.
-Ability to read and comprehend both ladder wiring diagrams/HVAC schematics
with the capability to troubleshoot and perform repairs.
-Entrata and/or MRI Workspeed experience a plus.
-Ability to work on-call for one week, every 3-4 weeks.
-Current driver’s license required, along with reliable transportation to respond to on-call/after-hour emergencies (as required) within 45 minutes.
