Jones Networking is recruiting for a Human Resources Generalist to join a growing Insurance Agency in Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidate will be passionate about human resources and have experience with on-boarding, recruiting, payroll, benefits management, compliance and scaling processes for growth. The Agency has amazing company culture, benefits and growth. This role will be in-office for the first three months and then move to a hybrid schedule.

Position Summary for the Human Resources Generalist:
– Work closely with the President and Director of Engagement to develop the Human Resources department.
– Proactively source and screen candidates for current and future openings.
– Collaborate with all department heads to gather hiring needs and requirements.
– Administer health & welfare plans, including enrollments, changes & terminations.
– Assist with recruitment and interview process.
– Process bi-weekly payroll.
– Conduct HR portion of new hire orientation.
– Responsible for I-9 and e-verify processes.
– Prepare new employee files.
– Respond to employee requests and questions.
– Reconcile benefits statements.
– Conduct audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommend corrective action.
– Administer workers’ compensation process.
– Assist with processing new hires, employee status changes, and terminations.
– File documents into appropriate employee files.

Requirements of the Human Resources Generalist:
– Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in human resources or related fields.
– At least three to five years’ human resources generalist experience is required.
– Previous experience in scaling an organization while collaborating with various departments is required.
– Previous experience recruiting professional exempt employees such as Marketing, Accounting, Insurance, Administrative Professionals, etc. is required.
– PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
– Knowledge of Paylocity is preferred, but not required.
– Excellent oral and written communication skills.
– Strong organizational and time-management skills.
– Ability to maintain confidentiality.
– Ability to prioritize job responsibilities in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.
