Responsibilities of the Litigation Trial Attorney:
– Represent clients in all phases of personal injury litigation.
– Research case theories, interview clients & witnesses, draft briefs, prepare oral arguments, motions practice and conduct and defend expert and witness depositions.
– Responsible for prosecuting jury trials to verdict as Lead Counsel for complex injury cases.
– Develops settlement brochures, strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
– Responsible for legal compliance with respect to disbursements and settlement funds.

Requirements of the Litigation Trial Attorney:
– At least 5+ years of litigation trial experience within a Personal Injury Law Firm.
– Plaintiff or defense personal injury experience.
– Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school.
– North Carolina State Bar admission.
– Persuasive, hard working and detail-oriented.
– People-friendly and focused.
– Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
– Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
– Maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment.
