Position Title: Marketing Manager
Location: Arlington, VA
Industry: Law Firm
Report to: Firm Administrator
Status: Full Time, Direct Hire
Position Summary:
- Manage overall marketing efforts of the Firm as well as individual Practice Groups
- Develop and coordinate the placement of press releases and other promotional articles across multiple platforms
- Work with attorneys to create compelling marketing pieces and biographies
- Create targeted campaigns that drive engagement and generate leads and new business
- Update and compose new material for Firm website as well as other digital platforms
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee internal as well as external events to generate new business
- Organize regular meetings with Firm members to plan and execute marketing strategies
- Oversee editing and proofreading process of all marketing materials
- Manage and build client contact database
- Identify, attend, and host various functions that will assist in business development across multiple networks
- Assist attorneys with new client proposal efforts
Qualifications Summary:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in a professional services environment
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Strong communicator, written and verbal
- Exceptional attention to detail in the areas of writing, editing and proofreading
- Ability to develop relationships internally and externally with clients
- Adaptability as client priorities and schedules change
- Ability to manage time and competing tasks while meeting deadlines
