Jones Networking is recruiting for a Workers’ Compensation Attorney to join a well-respected organization and represent its clients in all phases of litigation. The firm is seeking an individual with demonstrated legal ability and a track record of successful trial and negotiation skills. Position Summary for the Workers’ Compensation Attorney:
– Responsible for representing the clients of a prestigious and financially stable law firm, by litigating an interesting workers’ compensation caseload of moderate complexity.
– Perform duties encompassing all aspects of workers’ compensation, including initial investigation and legal analysis, preparing and filing legal pleadings and documents, performing legal research, preparing for and conducting pre-trial discovery, preparing for and aggressively handling hearing and trials, and conducting post-trial activities where appropriate.
Qualifications Summary for the Workers’ Compensation Attorney:
– Juris Doctor required.
– Must be a licensed Attorney able to practice in NC.
– 2-5+ years experience working as a Workers’ Compensation Attorney
– Knowledge of the insurance industry, claims and the insurance litigation legal environment.
– Trial experience.
– Must be well-organized with good analytical skills; excellent oral and written communication skills.
– Proactive approach to file handling and caseloads, and able to work independently as well as within a team environment.
– Ability to write well and in an analytical manner and ability to persuade.
– Ability to interface independently with clients.
– Ability to multi-task.
