Position Title: Accountant

Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm
Jones Networking is searching for an Accountant that has fund experience to join a growing Venture Capital firm that offers excellent benefits and many perks!
Accountant Position Summary:
– Prepare monthly journal entries and weekly accounting schedules
– Prepare bank reconciliations and quarterly financial statements
– Prepare schedule for annual audit as well as interact with auditors for year-end audit
– Maintain general ledger
– Assist in quarterly reports, assist with K-1 tax related forms, assist with LP transfers and distribution and capital call notifications
Accountant Qualifications Summary:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
– 1 – 3 years of experience in fund accounting, fund operations, or public accounting
– Knowledge of GAAP
– Excellent organizational and time management skills
– Excellent communication skills
– Detailed-oriented and a team player
– Works well under pressure
– Responds to deadlines with urgency
