Jones Networking is recruiting for a Legal Research Associate to join a large downtown law firm. This company offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.
Legal Research Associate Position Summary:
– Legal research
– Case law research
– Search references for staff
– Be able to do public records searches
– Catalog maintenance
– Monitor legal news
– Be able to prepare any litigation and legislation updates
– And any other duties as assigned
Legal Research Associate Qualifications Summary:
– Bachelor’s Degree
– At least 2 years of legal research experience
– A Master’s Degree in Library Science or Legal Studies is a plus
– Strong communication and organizational skills
– Strong attention to detail skills
– Proficiency using print and online legal resources
– Westlaw, Lexis and Bloomberg Law is required.
Approximately 60,000 – 70,000/annually, depending on experience.
