Jones Networking is recruiting for a motivated and dedicated Bilingual Family Law Attorney to join a growing law firm. This role is ideal for a bilingual (Spanish/English) professional with a solid foundation in family law and civil procedures, strong communication skills, and a commitment to handling sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Experienced attorneys and recent law graduates are encouraged to apply.

Bilingual Family Law Attorney Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in family law matters, including courtroom appearances and litigation.
  • Conduct client intakes and consultations, offering legal guidance and setting clear expectations.
  • Prepare, draft, and file legal documents such as complaints, motions, and discovery, supported by applicable statutes and case law.
  • Manage out-of-county cases by traveling to surrounding counties as needed for client representation.
  • Participate in community networking and marketing events to build client relationships and promote the firm’s services.
  • Contribute to the Family Law Department’s growth by creating blogs, updating website content, and engaging on social media.
  • Conduct legal research to support the Family Law Partner in preparing for trials and refining in-house family law procedures.
  • Professionally communicate with pro se litigants, opposing counsel, court staff, and other parties.

Bilingual Family Law Attorney Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited institution.
  • Active North Carolina State Bar membership.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency (required).
  • Minimum 1 year of family law litigation experience in North Carolina is preferred, though related internships or clinics will also be considered.
  • Proficiency in CLIO and experience with e-filing are preferred.
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility for travel as required.
