Insurance Defense Attorney Responsibilities:
– Prepare pleadings, discovery demands, discovery responses, motions, and other litigation documents
– Prepare timely reports to insurance carriers and clients regarding case status and ongoing activities
– Ability to prioritize workload based on deadlines
– Communicate effectively with senior attorneys and paralegals
– Meet billing requirements
Insurance Defense Attorney Requirements:
– Juris Doctor required.
– 2-5+ years working as an Insurance Defense Attorney.
– Must be a licensed Attorney able to practice in North Carolina
– Must have some transferable work.
– The ideal candidate must have strong academic skills and top of a law school class is highly preferred.
– Must be a strong writer.
– Possess excellent interpersonal skills, have strong research, writing and verbal communication skills and be able to work independently.
– Prefer candidates that are organized and self-motivated.
