Jones Networking is recruiting a Senior Litigation Paralegal to join a growing Law Firm specializing in family law, in Myrtle Beach, SC. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience supporting attorneys in SC family law matters. The firm offers an excellent culture, great benefits, PTO and 401K.
Senior Litigation Paralegal Responsibilities:
– Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and correspondence
– Prepare financial declarations, case files, and exhibits
– Organize and manage case files, timelines, and court deadlines
– Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including compiling documents and exhibits
– Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and third parties
– Manage and maintain calendars, schedule hearings, mediations, and client meetings
– File documents electronically with family courts and monitor docket activity
– Conduct legal research and gather supporting documentation when needed
Senior Litigation Paralegal Requirements:
– 5+ years of paralegal experience, with a strong focus on family law
– Knowledge of South Carolina family court rules and procedures
– Proficient in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
– Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
