Jones Networking is recruiting for a Building Engineer to join a growing Commercial Property Management company based in Baltimore, Maryland. This position will report directly to the Chief Engineer.
Building Engineer Position Summary:
– Perform daily inspections of buildings
– Supervise and oversee work of outside contractors
– Perform all routine and preventative maintenance programs for safety systems
– Diagnose and repair all mechanical or electrical systems
– Perform all routine maintenance and repair duties
– Inspect and adjust HVAC components
– General plumbing repairs
– Cleaning roof drains
– Door and hardware repairs and ceiling repairs
– Replace light fixtures and bulbs
– Maintain and/or adjust building automatic temperature control system and HVAC systems
– Be able to maintain and/or adjust water-cooled chillers, cooling towers, condenser water pumps,chilled water pumps, water source self-contained packaged units, gas-fired boilers and air-cooled chillers
Building Engineer Qualifications Summary:
– 3 to 5 years of experience as a building engineer with commercial property buildings
– High School Diploma or GED
– Detail oriented and problem solving skills
– Excellent time management skills
Approximately 50,000/annually, depending on experience
