Jones Networking has an exciting opportunity available for a corporate Sous Chef in Sterling, VA. Salary is commensurate with education, training and experience. Corporate Sous Chef Position Description:
-Perform research, experiment with recipes, and plate food for presentations.
-Work with CDC and Executive Sous Chef for the creation and preparation of dishes.
-Assist Executive Sous Chef with developing and writing menus for clients and customers based on specific needs.
-Responsible for plating and garnishing food to ensure it is visually appealing.
-Attend trade shows and assist with food demonstration presentations.
-Travel to client sites to perform food demonstrations and answer inquiries regarding the preparations.

Education:
Associates or BA in Culinary Arts or Food Science or equivalent certification.

Corporate Sous Chef Qualifications Summary:
-Minimum two years experience as a Chef and/or Sous Chef.
-Experience working for a Michelin Star Restaurants or equivalent is a plus.
-Experience with menu design preferred.
-Front of house experience is an asset.
-Familiarity with food safety rules.
-Servsafe certification desired.
