Jones Networking is recruiting for a Director of Revenue to oversee all aspects of a company’s revenue within a manufacturing plant in Sterling, VA. Director of Revenue Position Summary:
– Responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies to maximize margins, managing clients’ returns, overseeing efficiencies in production, and ensuring that the company meets its financial goals.
– Responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies to maximize margins, managing clients’ returns, overseeing efficiencies in production, and ensuring that the company meets its financial goals.
– Support the global Revenue function as the Revenue Director in the US.
– Partner effectively with Global Revenue and the US Commercial team to drive revenue goals within separate sales channels.
– Partner with Finance for the accurate reporting of revenue and margins, tracking of variances vs. standards.
– Lead discussions with the Commercial team, Finance, R&D, QA, Operations and Costing on new product launches and LTOs to ensure accuracy and consistency.
– Lead discussions with Procurement, Logistics and Operations on hedging strategies and tailored pricing models.
– Oversee standards and pricing updates monthly for the different price groups.
– Monitor day-to-day progress of revenue strategy within Key Accounts in coordination with Sales.
– Report on revenue trends and forecasts to Management on a weekly basis. Work with the Commercial team on proactive strategies to avoid or minimize margin compression.
– Opine on contract terms to maximize company revenue: review new and revised Customer Agreements.
– Develop and continue to improve existing internal controls to support revenue management activities.
– Identify and resolve revenue related issues promptly.
– Approve all US revenue and pricing decisions before implementation.
– Serve as a core team member for strategic initiatives.
– Manage the work of others and act as backup for team members.
Director of Revenue Qualifications Summary:
– Minimum ten years of progressive experience in combined industry and costing/pricing analysis, preferably in manufacturing.
– Bachelor’s Degree and/or Professional in Finance / Accounting or equivalent desired.
– Portfolio and client management experience preferred.

– Deep understanding and demonstrated experience in costing, pricing, return on investment calculations.
– NetSuite, Plexus, experience is a strong plus.
