Responsibilities of the Employment Law Attorney:
– At least 10 years of experience advising clients on management side employment issues
– Litigation experience is a plus
– Conducting workplace investigations and training
– Responding to claims filed with federal, state and local agencies and courts
– Drafting position statements, court filings and other documents
– Be able to provide strategic legal advice
– Advise clients on EEO issues, federal and state wage and hour law, be compliant with federal, state and local leave laws
Requirements of the Employment Law Attorney:
– Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school
– Admission in good standing to Maryland State Bar
– Minimum of 10 years’ MD employment law experience required
– Book of Business
