Employment Law Attorney Responsibilities:
– Provide the highest quality employment law legal services to a diverse group of clients in an ethical and professional environment
– Handle claims that were filed with federal, state and local agencies
– Provide advice regarding EEO issues, federal and state wage law, and compliance with federal, state and local leave laws
– Work cooperatively with attorneys, paralegals, support staff, and court staff
Employment Law Attorney Qualifications:
– At least 5 years of employment law experience
– Experience on management side labor and employment
– Admitted to practice law in Maryland
– Excellent academic credentials, creative analytical and problem-solving skills
– Detail-oriented with excellent organization skills, including the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with little to no supervision
– Team player, committed to working with colleagues and clients
– Strong understanding of Maryland employment law trends and developments
– Ability to research and analyze legal issues
– Proficient legal writing skills
Employment Law Attorney Compensation and Benefits:
– Approximately $125,000-$137,000/annually, depending on experience
