Refrigeration Maintenance Manager Position Summary:
-Responsible for the safe operation, management, and maintenance / repair of an Ammonia Refrigeration System and other Mechanical counterparts.
-Oversee industrial / building maintenance, upkeep and repair.
-Supervise and direct a small team of technicians.
-Support SQF by maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining work area in a sanitary manner.
-Perform daily checks and documentation on equipment.
-Evaluate machinery, equipment and facility to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
-Track and log materials and resources used for projects and maintenance.
-Perform project management and scheduling.
-Inspect work performed to verify its complete and done to specifications and mechanical standards.
Qualifications Summary:
-Minimum five years experience in a high-volume manufacturing plant, preferably food or beverage.
-Minimum three years of experience in Ammonia Refrigeration Maintenance.
-Engineering and preventive maintenance experience in a large facility.
-PSM for Ammonia Refrigeration Systems desired.
-CIRO Certification, or the ability to pass RETA, CIRO Certification in an acceptable time frame.
-Supervisory experience is required.
-Capital budgeting and planning skills.
-Familiar with systems and infrastructure upgrades and maintenance.
-Experience with Process Safety Management.
-Good working knowledge of NEC – National Electrical Code.
-Base knowledge of Freezer Doors, Truck Bay Levelers & Restraints, Building Maintenance, etc.
-After hours / on call and some weekend work is required.
