– Experience catering to and addressing the planning needs of federally taxable estates
– Consult with potential clients to ascertain their needs and decide on the next steps
– Engage in matter management to ensure all cases move forward in a timely manner
Estate Planning Attorney Requirements:
– Prior estate law experience
– Admitted to practice law in North Carolina
– Excellent academic credentials, creative analytical and problem-solving skills
– Detail-oriented with excellent organization skills, including the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with little to no supervision
– Team player, committed to working with colleagues and clients
– Strong understanding of North Carolina estate law statutes and case law
– Ability to research and analyze legal issues
– Proficient legal writing skills
