Jones Networking is recruiting for an experienced Associate Attorney for an opportunity with a Law Firm in the Energy & Environmental Group in Baltimore, Maryland. Associate Attorney Responsibilities:
– Provide the highest quality legal services to a diverse group of clients in an ethical and professional environment
– Experience and knowledge in climate change
– Must have experience in energy law
– Must have knowledge of Building Energy Performance Standards
– Must have knowledge of Maryland’s Climate Solutions Now Act
– Must have experience practicing before FERC or state-level utility commissions
– Must have project permitting experience with solar
Associate Attorney Qualifications:
– At least 10 years of first chair experience
– Admitted to practice law in Maryland
– Excellent academic credentials, creative analytical and problem-solving skills
– Detail-oriented with excellent organization skills, including the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with little to no supervision
– Team player, committed to working with colleagues and clients
– Ability to research and analyze legal issues
– Proficient legal writing skills
Associate Attorney Compensation and Benefits:
– Approximately $140,000-$160,000/annually, depending on experience
