Jones Networking is recruiting for a Bilingual Pre-Litigation Attorney to join a prominent plaintiff personal injury law firm in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for advocating on behalf of injured clients and possess the skills necessary to manage pre-litigation cases effectively from intake through settlement.

Bilingual Pre-Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of personal injury claims in the pre-litigation phase, including auto accidents, slip and fall, and other negligence-based cases.
  • Conduct thorough client intakes and initial investigations to assess the viability of claims.
  • Oversee the collection of medical records, accident reports, and other relevant evidence to build a strong case.
  • Communicate with insurance adjusters and opposing counsel to negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Draft demand letters and negotiate with insurance companies to secure fair compensation for clients.
  • Keep clients informed and updated on the progress of their case, providing clear and empathetic legal guidance.
  • Work closely with paralegals and legal assistants to ensure all case deadlines are met.
  • Prepare cases for litigation and transition to the litigation team if settlement cannot be reached during the pre-litigation phase.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files using case management software.

Bilingual Pre-Litigation Attorney Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed and in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in personal injury law, with a focus on pre-litigation preferred.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to settle claims effectively.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of North Carolina personal injury law and procedures.
  • Proficiency in legal technology and case management software.
