Jones Networking is recruiting for a Senior Tax Accountant to join a growing and inspiring Accounting Firm in Ocala, FL. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of tax accounting experience in a senior or lead role, be high-energy and motivated. The Firm offers excellent growth opportunities, health benefits and PTO.
Senior Tax Accountant Responsibilities:
– Learn various software programs essential to the Tax Department
– Complete tasks including tax return preparation, tax research, tax planning, and tax projections
– Invoice clients for work performed
– Communicate effectively with clients
– Train new staff on processes, procedures, and methodology
– Complete complex tax returns, tax research and tax projections with minimal assistance
– Sell new services to existing clients
– Work to improve relationships with existing clients
– Provide suggestions on ways to improve the Firm
– Network in the community
Senior Tax Accountant Requirements:
– 3+ years’ experience in a senior or lead accounting role is preferred
– Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
– CPA (or working towards CPA)
– Hardworking and positive attitude
– Ability and willingness to learn
– Adaptable, assertive, and takes initiative
– Strong communication and customer service skills
– Desire to grow within the firm
