Jones Networking is recruiting for a Litigation Paralegal to join a Personal Injury Law Firm in Wilmington, NC. The Litigation Paralegal will work under the direction of several attorneys and will handle personal injury, institutional child sex abuse, mass torts, data breach class actions, toxic torts, and business litigation. The Litigation Paralegal should enjoy working with clients and be prepared and able to work on a variety of cases from intake to verdict. Responsibilities of the Litigation Paralegal / Personal Injury:
– Interview clients
– Communicate updates to clients regarding their case
– Monitor client’s medical treatment
– Review medical records and prepare medical chronologies
– Draft discovery requests and responses
– Document review and production
– Legal research and e-filing
– Deposition summaries
– Preparation of exhibits and trial notebooks
– Trial support
– Other duties assigned on an as-needed basis

Qualifications of the Litigation Paralegal / Personal Injury:
– Associate’s degree, with a preference in paralegal studies, preferably from an ABA-approved program
– Minimum 3+ years of litigation personal injury experience in a law office / legal setting
– Superb organizational skills
– Proficiency working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe
– Excellent written and verbal communication
– E-filing (Pacer CM/ECF; state court or Business Court – a plus)
– Ability to demonstrate project management and organizational skills, including the ability to work independently on projects with minimal supervision
