Jones Networking is recruiting a Manufacturing Assistant to support the production of high-performance carbon fiber components with an engineering and manufacturing firm in Denver, NC. The ideal candidate should have exceptional attention to detail. On the job training is provided.
Position Summary for the Manufacturing Assistant:
– Assist with the layup and preparation of carbon fiber materials for molds.
– Cut, measure, and apply composite fabrics with guidance from experienced laminators.
– Learn and follow precise work instructions and technical drawings.
– Help with vacuum bagging, resin application, and cure preparation processes.
– Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
– Inspect parts for basic defects and communicate findings to the lead technician.
Qualifications Summary for the Manufacturing Assistant:
– High School Diploma required.
– Willingness to learn.
– Exceptional attention to detail.
– Be dependable, timely and work well with others; be able to work to tight timelines and work overtime when required by Management.
