Jones Networking is recruiting for an Assistant Refrigeration Maintenance Manager to join a large food manufacturing facility in San Antonio, TX. Assistant Refrigeration Manager Position Summary:
-Assist in the management of daily operations of the refrigeration department within a food manufacturing plant, including ammonia refrigeration.
-Oversee the maintenance and repair of refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal functionality.
-Supervise and train refrigeration technicians to ensure high performance and adherence to all safety protocols.
-Collaborate with the Refrigeration Manager to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
-Manage and supervise refrigeration associates including hiring, training and developing.
-Participate in cleaning, installing, repairing, replacing insulation, filters, and other components of the assigned systems.
-Provide timely, accurate and consistent reports regarding safety, production, costs, etc.
-Provide a safe work environment for all associates by eliminating unsafe acts or conditions.

Qualifications Summary:
-Trade school diploma or equivalent experience.
-Minimum three years experience assisting with related refrigeration / ammonia equipment.
-Ability to use hand and shop tools used in the maintenance and repair of refrigeration systems.
-Proven experience in refrigeration system maintenance and repair with supervisory or managerial experience.
-Strong technical knowledge of various refrigeration systems, including industrial and commercial applications.
-Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
-Ability to read and understand sketches and manufacturer’s instructions.
