Jones Networking is recruiting for a Foreign Patent Prosecution Manager to join the Washington, DC office of our client’s Firm. Foreign Patent Prosecution Manager Position Summary:
-Supervise foreign patent paralegals and provide backup as necessary.
-Provide updates and recommendations to Firm management regarding foreign patent prosecution department.
-Assists with recruiting and evaluation of prospective candidates for the foreign patent prosecution department.
-Prepare and conduct annual performance reviews.;
-Oversee foreign patent application process.
-Prepare conversion deadline letters and cost estimates.
-Prepare PCT International Applications and process forms from WIPO.
-Prepare National Applications and PCT National Phase applications.
-Process foreign Letters Patent documents and reports.
-Assist annuity service to pay client foreign patent renewals.

Foreign Patent Prosecution Manager Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree preferred.
-Minimum five years of foreign patent prosecution experience.
-Thorough knowledge of PCT and foreign patent rules and procedures, including processes and procedures for interacting with clients and foreign law firms to advance foreign patent applications.
-Demonstrated leadership skills required.
-Experience with document management systems.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
-Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
