Jones Networking is recruiting for an experienced HR Project Manager to join a Non-Profit organization in Marriottsville, Maryland that provides a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

HR Project Manager Position Summary: 
– Serves as point of contact for employees regarding benefit questions, plan details, eligibility and any claims
– Administers employee benefits programs such as health, dental, vision, life insurance, short/long term disability, FMLA, COBRA, workers compensation and leave of absence
– Handles open enrollment, including employee communication, system updates and vendor coordinator along with the Broker and HRIS/payroll administrator
– Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations
– Handles onboarding, benefit orientation sessions, and offboarding sessions
– Maintains updating records and documentations in HRIS system as well as benefits platform
– Collaborates with benefits vendors, brokers and HRIS/payroll vendor to manage relationships
– Develops, coordinates and handles all benefits and employee training sessions
– Analyzes trends in benefits to support cost-effective and competitive offerings
– Develop and communicate wellness programs and employee engagement initiatives

HR Project Manager Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
– PHR, SHRM-CP or CEBS certification preferred
– Experience with ADP Workforce Now HRIS/benefits platforms preferred
– Experience working for a non-profit and/or religious organization preferred
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits administration or a related HR role
– Knowledge of federal and state benefits laws and regulations
– Strong attention to detail
– Organizational skills
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
– Proficient in MS Office Suite
– Proficient in HRIS systems
