Jones Networking is recruiting for an experienced Litigation Paralegal for an opportunity with a Personal Injury Law Firm in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities of the Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal:
– Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including drafting jury instructions, organizing trial exhibits, and assembling trial binders.
– Draft subpoenas, pleadings, and discovery documents; schedule and coordinate depositions.
– File motions and other legal documents with state and federal courts.
– Manage and coordinate all aspects of litigated files, including client interviews and case timelines.
– Review, analyze, and summarize medical records for use in litigation and settlement.
– Draft professional correspondence, legal pleadings, and case summaries.
– Prepare responses to discovery requests and ensure timely compliance with court deadlines.

Requirements of the Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal:
– 3–5+ years of personal injury litigation paralegal experience
– North Carolina litigation experience (required)
– Experience with Needles Case Management Software (highly preferred)
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
– Paralegal Certificate (highly preferred)
– Professional appearance and demeanor
– Ability to organize, multitask, and work under pressure
– Ability to prioritize tasks according to importance
– Excellent interpersonal skills; able to interact with people in a positive and courteous manner
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Dependable, punctual, and accurate
– Team player with a collaborative mindset
– Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
