Jones Networking is recruiting a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist / Programmer to join our growing company in Denver, NC. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong programming and machining experience who is comfortable working with advanced CNC equipment and composite materials. The ideal candidate will have experience with multi-axis machining, strong CAD/CAM programming skills, and the ability to take projects from concept through production.
CNC Machinist / Programmer Responsibilities:
– Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and CNC routers
– Develop and optimize toolpaths using CAD/CAM software
– Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models
– Perform machine setup, including tooling, fixturing, and calibration
– Run production jobs while maintaining tight tolerances and quality standards
– Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to improve efficiency
– Collaborate with engineering and production teams on process improvements
– Maintain equipment and ensure a safe working environment
CNC Machinist / Programmer Qualifications:
– 3-axis CNC machining experience required; 5-axis experience is preferred
– Experience working with CNC mills and CNC routers
– Familiarity with CNC controls, including: Haas, Fagor and/or Fanuc
– Proficiency in CAD/CAM software:
– Mastercam and/or SolidWorks (required); Aspire (a plus)
– Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials
– Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
– High attention to detail and commitment to quality
