Jones Networking is recruiting for a Lead Case Manager to join a growing Personal Injury Law Firm in Charlotte, NC. The Law Firm offers a competitive salary, medical, dental & vision insurance, 401(k), generous paid time off and a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities of the Lead Case Manager / Personal Injury:
– Maintain effective communication with attorneys, clients, insurance adjusters, and other professionals to discuss assigned cases or projects.

– Demonstrate key performance indicators and driving tasks to completion with minimal supervisory oversight.
– Maintain updated lien and balance information in assigned files.

– Communicate with insurance and health adjusters regarding demand packages, policies, liens, and payment logs.
– Verify client’s insurance coverage and how coverages apply.
– Request and review client documents including medical records, bills, and health insurance liens.
– Understand subrogation and rule 414 payment and adjustments to review liens and balance sheets for accuracy.
– Conduct routine client contact regarding case updates, treatment, coverage investigations, etc.
– Directly supervise a pre-litigation team of four case managers, two legal assistants, and one balance clerk.
– Complete systematic file review of demand packages prepared by your team.
– Manage file count and file rotation within your team.
– Provide consistent support and timely resolution of file issues within your team.
– Complete biweekly 1:1 meetings with your team.
– Ensure goal and KPI reporting in Performyard.
– Track medical management, demand production, and case count of your team.

Requirements of the Lead Case Manager / Personal Injury:
– At least 3+ years of legal case management experience within a Personal Injury Law Firm required.
– High school diploma or equivalent required.
– Paralegal Certificate preferred but not required.

– Needles and Neos case management software experience preferred.
– Prior experience managing and supervising strongly preferred.

– Strong organizational skills.

– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to effectively communicate and lead a team.
– Understanding of legal language and principles, and other related processes.
– Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
– Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
– Enjoy client communication and be responsive and proactive.
– High degree of drive to move tasks to completion.
– Attention to detail.

– Ability to work on-site.
