Jones Networking is seeking an energetic sales oriented Leasing Consultant to join our client’s property management team. This is a great opportunity for experience and professional development!
Leasing Consultant Position Summary:
- Greet prospective tenants and answer general inquires about the property
- Qualify prospects by covering all required criteria needed to become a tenant
- Conduct tours of community and apartments with prospective residents
- Ensure prospects complete leasing application and secure deposit in accordance with company procedures and Fair Housing Laws
- Process applications for approval, conduct credit checks, rental history, and references
- Ensure apartment is ready for residents to move in on agreed upon date
- Assist in monitoring renewals, and distribute follow-up notices
- Prepare leases and complete appropriate paperwork while maintaining resident files
- Assist with resident retention activities
- Maintain and record inspections for the community
- Participate in outreach marketing activities on a regular basis to obtain prospective residents
Leasing Consultant Qualifications Summary:
- Minimum one year experience in a residential leasing position
- Sales experience preferred
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
