Office Manager Position Summary:
- Manage administrative and bookkeeping functions
- Process supplier invoices and take all reasonable discounts on supplier invoices
- Issue invoices to clients
- Ensure that accounts receivables are collected promptly
- Conduct a monthly reconciliation of each bank account
- Work closely with external accountant who creates the company’s financial statements
- Assemble information for external auditors for the annual audit
- Maintain the chart of accounts
- Process payroll
- Purchase supplies and equipment
- Monitor office supply levels and reorder as necessary
- Assist with administration of employee 401(k) plan
- Coordinate office events
Office Manager Qualifications Summary:
- Relevant Bookkeeping experience; this includes A/P, A/R, and payroll
- Proficiency with Deltek Vision Software required
- Experience at an Engineering, Architecture or Professional Services firm a plus
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Strong organizational ability and good attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
