Personal Injury Case Manager

Jones Networking is recruiting for a Personal Injury Case Manager to join a thriving Personal Injury Law Firm in Wilmington, NC. This position is responsible for ensuring that client treatment, insurance, medical records, and coordination of all aspects of care are completed for preparation for the attorneys. Responsibilities of the Personal Injury Case Manager:
– Maintain effective communication with attorneys, clients, insurance adjusters, and other professionals to discuss assigned cases or projects.
– Demonstrate key performance indicators and drive tasks to completion with minimal supervisory oversight.
– Communicate daily with insurance and health adjusters regarding policies, PIP logs and statement coordination.
– Schedule doctor’s appointments for clients.
– Verify client’s insurance coverage.
– Request client records from health care providers.
– Understanding of subrogation liens and dispute unrelated charges.
– Complete balance sheets accurately reflecting payments and adjustments.
– Heavy client contact regarding treatment, scheduling, wage loss, etc.
– Assist with communication between client and adjusters regarding property damage coverage.
– This role works under the direct supervision of a Lead Case Manager.
Requirements of the Personal Injury Case Manager:
– Must have Paralegal or Case Management experience within a Personal Injury Law Firm.
– High School Diploma or GED.
– Strong organizational skills.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Understanding of legal language and principles, and other related processes.
– Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
– Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
– Must be understanding and patient.
– High degree of drive to move tasks to completion.
– Attention to detail.
– High degree of self-motivation to drive workflow.
– Professional work ethic with a team centric attitude.
– Neo Needles experience preferred but not required.
– Public Notary in North Carolina preferred but not required.
