Responsibilities of the Personal Injury Litigation Attorney:
– Responsible for managing civil litigation and plaintiff personal injury cases under the direction of the Senior Litigation and Leadership Team.
– Review files to determine if litigation is advisable.
– File complaints, conduct discovery and try cases in front of judges, juries, or arbitration panels.
– Fight for those seriously injured by the negligence of others and help them find justice.
Requirements of the Personal Injury Litigation Attorney:
– At least 1-3+ years of plaintiff or defense personal injury experience.
– Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school.
– North Carolina State Bar admission.
– Persuasive, hard working and detail-oriented.
– People-friendly and focused.
– Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
– Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
– Maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment.
