Jones Networking is recruiting for a Plant Manager to oversee and direct the operations of a food production facility in Harrisburg, PA. This role will manage the organization’s manpower, technology, equipment and raw materials to produce a high quality and marketable product. Plant Manager Position Summary:
-Responsible for managing plant operations to meet the production schedule with quality products in an efficient and safe manner.
-Manage production to ensure products meet customer service and quality requirements.
-Direct initiatives to achieve cost reduction, manufacturing efficiencies and product quality improvements for all operations.
-Maintain a maintenance program to minimize downtime.
-Ensure workplace safety and comply with legal and governmental requirements such as OSHA, etc.
-Comply with corporate and company guidelines in Accounting, Human Resources, Purchasing, etc.
-Lead the overall manufacturing process from raw material receipt through the fabrication and packaging process.
-Responsible for employee development, performance management and staffing.
-Support quality standards, inventory accuracy and production planning schedules with a focus on reduction/avoidance of failure costs.
-Manage the daily operations of the Plant with a focus on employees, safety and productivity.
Plant Manager Qualifications Summary:
-Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Business Administration, Manufacturing Operations, Engineering or other relative field required.
-Minimum six years of manufacturing facility experience.
-Minimum two years experience within a food manufacturing facility required.
-Minimum two years of Plant Management experience.
-Prior food production facility maintenance experience preferred.
-Demonstrated staff leadership, strong team building, decision-making and people management skills.
