Jones Networking is recruiting for a Production Manager to join an award-winning Residential Remodeling & Design Firm based in McLean, VA. This role plays a key role in client communication and client satisfaction during the production phase of each residential remodeling project and as the chief point of contact for all client/vendor issues throughout the construction process. Projects are located in Northern VA, Montgomery County, MD and Washington, DC. Our client offers a competitive salary along with generous bonus opportunities.

Production Manager Position Summary
– Responsible for the supervision, training, and development of production employees at assigned work sites.
– Maintain regular communication with the client to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
– Perform problem-solving relating to complex remodeling problems and issues that arise during construction.
– Manage vendor/subcontractor relationships and oversee performance and contracts.
– Assume accountability for job site safety, cleanliness, security, and protection from damage during construction by supervising on site Project Managers.
– Oversee profitability of remodeling projects.
– Manage Pre-Construction Package Preparation to include:
Assisting the Project Leader during design phase including: reviewing budget & project clarifications, creating production schedule, providing labor estimates & design feedback to improve structural design/value engineering, performing site walk through as well as subcontractor selection.
– Assist the Project Leader during pre-construction phase including: bidding and contracts, ordering long lead time items, leading pre-construction meetings and preparing the final budget for accounting.
– Attend weekly project meetings in the office with Project Leaders
– Lead weekly site meetings with the client.
– Manage PMs, including 2-3 weekly site visits, reviewing construction issues, training PMs on best practices and managing photo documentation.
– Complete accounting processes including: percent completes, back charges, sub/vendor payment approvals, client invoices/payment and release of liens.
– Complete final walk through with client.

Production Manager Qualifications Summary
– Strong experience in residential construction with a minimum of 8 years experience in field operations.
– Minimum five years experience supervising construction work.
– Experience in managing, training and developing job site employees.
– Excellent communication skills to interact and lead employees, clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
– Working knowledge of all remodeling trade installation requirements and techniques.
– Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations, Construction Quality Control, First Aid and CPR.
– Successful ability to oversee multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
– Proficiency in MS Office Office Suite.
