Responsibilities of the Senior Mass Tort Attorney:
– Serve as an assertive advocate for our clients affected by the Camp Lejeune water issue.

– Draft lawsuits, draft and respond to discovery, taking depositions, and conducting mediations and trials.
– Manage and guide the work of the paralegals and serve as support to the team for both civil litigation and Camp Lejeune cases.
– Determine case strategies and solutions to serve client’s needs after analysis.
– Provide legal counsel to clients by analyzing their needs and determining a proper course of action.
– Compile the appropriate legal documents ready for clients, such as briefs, motions, and pleadings, as well as correspondence.
– Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions.
– Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings.

Requirements of the Senior Mass Tort Attorney:
– At least 8-10+ years of Personal Injury trial experience

– NC State Bar licensed
– Experience in federal courts preferred
– Experience with mass torts preferred
– Proficiency in writing, research, and negotiation
– Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal and public speaking skills
– Ability to work in a paperless environment and navigate easily in online software
– Must be able to handle complex caseloads with little supervision
– Must be an active member of your local bar association
– Current JD with no disbarment on record
– Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) required
– Superb negotiation skills and experience
