Jones Networking is recruiting for a Senior Personal Injury Trial Attorney to join a Plaintiff Law Firm in Charlotte, NC. The Firm offers a competitive salary, health insurance, 401k plan, generous PTO and wellness programs.
Position Summary for the Senior Personal Injury Trial Attorney:
– Represent clients in all phases of personal injury litigation.
– Research case theories, interview clients and witnesses, draft briefs, prepare oral arguments, motions practice and conduct and defend expert and witness depositions.
– Responsible for prosecuting jury trials to verdict as Lead Counsel for complex injury cases.
– Develops settlement brochures, strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
– Responsible for legal compliance with respect to disbursements and settlement funds.
Qualifications Summary for the Senior Personal Injury Trial Attorney:
– Juris Doctor degree from an accredited College or University.
– North Carolina, South Carolina or Alabama State Bar membership is required.
– Minimum of 5+ personal injury court verdicts of settlements over 5 million dollars required.
– Must be able to exercise extensive independent judgment to make decisions in carrying out assignments that have substantial impact on the department.
– Ability to instruct, lead and evaluate employees; lead and motivate others.
– Communicate effectively and use judgment, tact and discretion; quickly assimilate oral and written data, to analyze facts and draw logical conclusions.
– Maintain favorable client and employee relations.
– Ability to travel is necessary.
